As a key component and technology of electric vehicle, the performance of power battery is closely related to battery consistency control, battery monitoring and management and vehicle matching technology. Among them, the thermal management of battery is of great significance for the reliable and safe operation of electric vehicle.
Infrared temperature measurement technology uses infrared detection technology to obtain the thermal information of the infrared radiation state of the equipment, and then convert it into temperature for display. As a new non-contact measurement technology, it has a good application prospect in the thermal management system of power batteries.
Solutions and advantages
Customer needs:
When the battery box leaves the factory, it needs to carry out charge and discharge detection, and screen out the faulty products according to the abnormal temperature.
Generally, when the battery temperature reaches about 70 ℃ ~ 80 ℃, it may fail. When the temperature exceeds 55 ℃, it will give an alarm.
Solution:
Option 1: Installation in progress
This scheme has strong enforceability. Shelf products do not need to be customized, but there are a large number of infrared thermal imagers to be installed and the cost is high.
Option 2: Oblique installation
This scheme is economical, but there are requirements for installation conditions. Due to the angle relationship, each infrared thermal imager has the problem of temperature measurement consistency, which needs to be corrected. Our company recommends the customer to correct it by himself.
Option 3: Slide rail installation
Slide rails are laid on both sides of the tooling rack, and the thermal imager moves along the slide rails to measure the temperature of each battery pack respectively. There is at least one infrared thermal imager on each side of the slide rails. This scheme requires about 10s to complete all temperature data acquisition.
